New Hair and Oversized Sweaters

Ladies, I'm sure you'll agree, there's nothing like a day of beauty and fashion to make you feel good, renewed and ready to take on the world! I usually stick to a good ol' standby look when it comes to hair, but this time I requested a long version of "the shag," because I cannot fathom having my hair any shorter than what is pictured here (seriously). Long hair is my thing, always has been. Once, I was persuaded to cut it shoulder- length for a pageant, to look more "mature," and boy was that a bad idea. I hated the way I looked, and moreover the way I felt!

That's the thing about fashion, about beauty.. it HAS to make you feel good as well as look good, otherwise it's not worth the trouble. That's how I feel about the oversized sweater trend. It looks cute (when done well, mind you), and feels oh soo good and comfy!

I'm wearing my oversized sweater with skinny jeans and riding boots, accessorized by a chunky bracelet that will hold up well against the sweater's stature, and of course a long necklace to break up the long line of the sweater. This one is actually from Victoria's Secret. I love their sweaters because they're comfy, fashionable and don't break the bank.

I'm a fan of balance.. I strive to find it in all I do, and this is my philosophy with beauty and fashion too. You don't have to go all crazy with brand- names in order to look and feel good. If it works for you, makes you feel good, look good, then by all means- ROCK IT!
